Happy New Year

Good afternoon all

Hope you all have had a lovely Christmas.

New year is approaching and I can not wait to see what 2013 has to bring for us crafters.

My last card for 2012 is my in laws wedding anniversary card to which I though I share it with you all.

As I reflect on what I have done this year I start to wonder what will I do different or change for next year... I hope to blog often and show my craft friends what new designs or crafting venture I have learnt. I also hope to be more confident with what ever I will do.

Chrstmas is comming

Evening all

Hope you are all well.

Well a few weeks ago I showed you my card design I was going to do for Christmas for my family and friends.

Well with everything that was going on at work I could not get them done in time which is a shame.

So with quick thinking I went in to my cupboard and found my Art Deco CD Rom and designed a Christmas scene.

I'm now off to wrap all the presents and complete the decorations if I don't blogg before then I wish all my crafting friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Projects This month

Afternoon all

Hope you are well. This morning I wake up to a sheet of snow how lovely is that. Shame is did not loast thought the sun came up and melted most of it away.

During my week away from work I thought I will use the time do some projects.

I have started with a birthday card for a friends daughter ready for next weekend.

I love makeing cards for girls as they are easy to do. Pink and girly what more can you ask for. Boys / Men on the other hand not so easy.

I have been looking through ebay and saw an item that I will be intresting in doing Kumihimo. Acording to some websites its really easy to do. Kumihimo is a Japanese form of braid-making. Cords and ribbons are made by interlacing strands. Kumi himo is Japanese for "gathered threads". I will let you know how I get on next week.

So my plans for this week is to complete my christmas cards and start getting my christmas decorations up. How is everyone getting on with there christmas cards? No doubt it will be better than I have. Have a lovely evening and hoepfuly I will have a blog soon.
