Planning for mother's day

Hi All

I know its been ages since I wrote a blog. But I wanted to show a beautiful card I have made. (Test print)

I plan to sell this card on Folksy which will be my first card I will be selling.

How I did this card was really enjoyable, I have been playing with Craftartist because I got the Roald Dahl CD rom's for my birthday but there was no instructions how to use and print. But I got there and designed this lovely card. my origami folding is not the greatest but with this software there was a flat version which then allowed me to digitally impose the look like I have made it.

This week I have plans to make keyring's with Kumihimo cord. My mind has been buzzing with new designs so I might send pictures of them too.

Half term Holiday

Hi all

Hope you are all well? And having fun crafting.

This week is half term which is great. Work has been stressful and I needed a break.

My husband and I went to London on Monday with a friend of our and his oldest daughter we had a great relaxing time and the weather was not bad. Considering the news reports, London was not that bad. Other than that been relaxing and watching old TV series on DVD... Such a great relaxing moment not doing anything.

I am starting to look at what ideas I can do for Christmas this year. So I have been looking at the do craft website, as you do for inspiration. So far there are ideas that I think I can do but not sure if I have the confidents do it.

I am planning to do a few cards to see which one I will make for my friends and family and I will show you all so start tuned.

Its been a while

Afternoon all

I know its been months since my last post but it's been hectic at my end that it will be so long to read so I wont say anything. :-)

However my crafting skills has been little lack lately due to not being inspired. Its a said day when that happens to a crafter I think. So I ask my crafting readers what should I do?

Christmas is around the corner and I am not sure what I should make for my friends and family. I read magazine and forums but I am not as passionate as I have been in the past. I would love to hear what you guys do to get you in the mood to make fabulous cards?

Happy New Year

Good afternoon all

Hope you all have had a lovely Christmas.

New year is approaching and I can not wait to see what 2013 has to bring for us crafters.

My last card for 2012 is my in laws wedding anniversary card to which I though I share it with you all.

As I reflect on what I have done this year I start to wonder what will I do different or change for next year... I hope to blog often and show my craft friends what new designs or crafting venture I have learnt. I also hope to be more confident with what ever I will do.

Chrstmas is comming

Evening all

Hope you are all well.

Well a few weeks ago I showed you my card design I was going to do for Christmas for my family and friends.

Well with everything that was going on at work I could not get them done in time which is a shame.

So with quick thinking I went in to my cupboard and found my Art Deco CD Rom and designed a Christmas scene.

I'm now off to wrap all the presents and complete the decorations if I don't blogg before then I wish all my crafting friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Projects This month

Afternoon all

Hope you are well. This morning I wake up to a sheet of snow how lovely is that. Shame is did not loast thought the sun came up and melted most of it away.

During my week away from work I thought I will use the time do some projects.

I have started with a birthday card for a friends daughter ready for next weekend.

I love makeing cards for girls as they are easy to do. Pink and girly what more can you ask for. Boys / Men on the other hand not so easy.

I have been looking through ebay and saw an item that I will be intresting in doing Kumihimo. Acording to some websites its really easy to do. Kumihimo is a Japanese form of braid-making. Cords and ribbons are made by interlacing strands. Kumi himo is Japanese for "gathered threads". I will let you know how I get on next week.

So my plans for this week is to complete my christmas cards and start getting my christmas decorations up. How is everyone getting on with there christmas cards? No doubt it will be better than I have. Have a lovely evening and hoepfuly I will have a blog soon.
